Born in Tehran, Iran in 1976. He moved with his family to Rome in 1980 where he graduated in cinematography and photography in 1994. After being busy few years in the advertising field, from 2005 he dropped the commercial world and has been engaged in free research on different media since, including photography, videos, drawings and art installations. His works have been exhibited at the Venice Biennale, at the Victoria Memorial Hall in Kolkata and the Modern Art Museum in New Delhi, the MAMBA in Buenos Aires, The Stupinigi Hunting Lodge in Turin, the Andersen Museum, the Napoleonic Museum, the MAXXI and the MACRO Museums in Rome. From 2021 he’s been also working on digital illustration and animation.
